The Carolinas PGA Reach Foundation and Next Round Golf are teaming up to promote a holiday golf ball donation campaign benefiting programs for youth golfers and veterans.
Gather up all those extra golf balls that are rolling around the floor of your car,
or maybe stuffed in a pocket of your bag somewhere.
Bag them up and bring them to your pro shop.
Put them in the box with a green top that says “GOLF BALL DONATIONS”.
The mission of PGA REACH Carolinas is to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf.
This include their biggest program- PGA HOPE
The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.
By working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), this enables Recreational Therapists to refer Veterans to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy. Through a robust program strategy, PGA HOPE aspires to create a physically and emotionally healthier Veteran community through the game of golf.
If you haven’t met us before, Next Round partners with courses all over the country to give members an easy way to trade-in no longer used equipment for pro shop credit. After all that, we bring everything back home to Richmond, Va to inspect, clean, and prep each club so they can get back in the game.
Our ultimate goal is to grow the game. Through our various programs we are able to keep clubs out of landfills, support local courses, and make golf more accessible to current and new players.

After the balls are donated, Next Round will collect and send them through our wholesaler who will pay a price per ball based on the mix of balls donated. From there, Next Round will donate 100% of the proceeds to The Carolinas PGA REACH Foundation.
To donate your golf balls, go to your pro shop and you’ll find a box with a green top labeled “GOLF BALL DONATIONS”, and if you have any trouble please ask your pro- we’re all in this together!
This donation program is only for golf balls, but if you’re interested in our golf club trade-in, have your pro reach out to us at www.nextround.com/contact-us/ and we’d be happy to set that up.
On December 14th at 7pm, the foundation is hosting a wine dinner at Thacher & Rye. The price is $250 per person (dinner, wine, taxes and gratuities are all included) as well as an ongoing auction! [register here]
PGA REACH also accepts donations throughout the year [donate here]
